Estate averages calm lenders and unsettle foremen. A single number for 200 rai hides the canal section that lodged and the block that transplanted a week late.

In harvest briefings we pin three items on the shed wall:

1. The five blocks that carried the season, with sample weights.
2. The two blocks that need drainage or stand work before the next transplant.
3. One question for the crew — usually about labour timing or water turns — written in the language they use on the radio.

Keep the handout to one page. If a supervisor cannot fold it into a shirt pocket, it will not survive the next irrigation round. Agriculture yield tracking earns trust when the people who cut and weigh recognise their own field names in the briefing.
