Refund & cancellation

Eligibility

Refunds apply to fees paid directly to Cortex Nodebase Co., Ltd. for scheduled engagements. This site does not sell physical goods or software subscriptions.

Deposits

A deposit may be required to reserve field dates. Deposits are credited toward the final invoice. Deposits become non-refundable once assessors have begun travel to your farm or have completed more than half a day of preparation specifically for your maps and sampling plan.

Cancellation by you

• More than 7 days before the first field day: full refund of fees paid, minus any non-recoverable travel bookings made at your request.
• 3–7 days before: 50% refund of the engagement fee; deposit may be retained.
• Fewer than 3 days, or no-show: no refund of deposit; remaining prepaid fees may be retained to cover reserved crew time.

Rescheduling

You may reschedule once without penalty if you give at least 5 days’ notice and a new date within 60 days is agreed. Further changes may incur a rescheduling fee reflecting travel rebooking.

Work already started

If field days or report drafting have begun, fees for completed portions are non-refundable. Unused prepaid portions may be refunded on a pro-rata basis at our discretion when weather or access issues on our side prevent completion.

Cancellation by us

If we must cancel for illness, safety, or access problems we cannot resolve, you may choose a full refund of amounts paid for the unfinished work or a free reschedule.

Materials & third-party costs

Printed handouts already produced for a briefing and third-party lodging booked at your request are non-refundable once purchased.

Process & timing

Email hello@cortex-nodebase.click with your engagement date and reason. Approved refunds are returned by the original payment method within 14 business days where the provider allows.

Exceptions

Mandatory consumer protections under Thai law take precedence where they apply to eligible clients.
